During the warmer season, guests can dine in our outdoor garden — a green and relaxing space in the heart of Bevagna, perfect for enjoying Umbrian cuisine in the open air.

Our cellar offers a selection of Umbrian and Italian wines, with particular attention to the great reds of Montefalco such as Sagrantino — perfect to accompany our dishes.

Ottavius is located in the historic center of Bevagna, one of Umbria’s most charming medieval villages, also known for the historical reenactment of the Mercato delle Gaite.

The best Florentine steak in Umbria. We left completely satisfied with this excellent restaurant, located in the heart of the charming medieval village of Bevagna.

The Florentine menu for two is extremely good value. A very generous mixed starter, a 1 kg Florentine steak, side dish, and house wine — simply magnificent.

And if you can’t finish the steak at lunch, they’ll pack it for you to enjoy later at dinner.

What can we say — we’ll definitely be back.

The place feels like an art gallery, with numerous colorful original paintings that create a warm and uplifting atmosphere.

We were truly impressed by the owner’s hospitality, who spent time chatting with us, as well as by the service and the excellent food.
